ONNECTIONS
When Does TuneBase 200 Connect To Internet?
TuneBase 200 is designed to automatically connect and disconnect from the Internet as
needed. The following is a list describing when Internet connections occur:
Quick Start
:
During the initial quick start process – an Internet connection status dialog and
progress indicator are provided to show the status of the connection. The connection
can be terminated manually by pressing STOP or the connection will automatically stop
as soon as the Setup information is exchanged.
CD Lookup
:
Each time a CD Player door is opened and closed & a new disc is found, TuneBase 200
will automatically connect to the OpenGlobe server in order to retrieve disc information
and cover art. The status of the connection and the status of the information retrieval is
displayed in the lower left portion of the Music Player screen. The Internet connection
will automatically terminate 2.5 minutes after the information and cover art is retrieved
unless another disc is inserted or another activity that requires Internet connectivity is
selected. The Internet connection can be manually terminated by pressing STOP.
Power Loss
:
When Power is lost and then restored, TuneBase 200 automatically dials out and
retrieves the correct time. You can terminate the connection at any time by pressing
STOP.
