Fireball PDA Web Interface
Compatible Handheld Devices
The Fireball PDA interface has been designed specifically to be accessible from any device
that contains a built-in web browser and provides connectivity to the same local area network
from which the Fireball is connected. This includes both wired and wireless connectivity with
the appropriate networking hardware. The most common of these devices run either a PalmOS
or Microsoft Windows Mobile platform. Devices utilizing the PalmOS include a web browser
called Blazer that you will use to access the Fireball. Devices running the Microsoft Windows
Mobile platform will use Pocket Internet Explorer to access the Fireball. The most common of
these handheld devices include products by Palm and HP/Compaq which are highly
recommended.
Network Information
In order to connect your handheld device to your existing wireless network which may include
WEP or WPA encryption, you will need to know the following information beforehand. Each of
the items listed below is particular to your wireless access point/router and should have been
setup during initial install.

WEP Key or WPA-PSK Passphrase (Password used to access your network)
Using a PalmOS Device
Signal Strength
You can easily check your handhelds Wi-Fi status and signal strength any time by viewing the
Wi-Fi icon on the status bar. Tapping the Wi-Fi icon will open the Preferences screen to view
status, signal strength, and other Wi-Fi information.
