REMOVING THE BATTERY PACK

1.   Ensure the ON/OFF/VOLUME control know is in

the OFF (detent) position.

2.   Press  the  battery  release  button  to  release  the

battery.

3.   Remove the battery pack by sliding it back until it

stops. Then lift up and away until it separates from
the radio.
