HARDWARE ADMINISTRATION
On re-start of the exchange the administration data is updated in the system hardware administration area
indicating the service technician where to re-insert the different shut down boards after a program upgrade.
Using the information in the RP menu of RASC, reduces the risk of misplacing boards after the hot
swapping. The most recent and valid configuration is stored on the CPU-D4 containing information such
as ROF number, RYS number and revision states, also during the shutdown state of these boards. The
battery back-up RAM stores the complete administration information for up to a maximum of 64 boards.
To read out the configuration enter RASC, go to the item configuration or look under the maintenance
menu HW/SW the configuration list.
