4. Unscrew the shaft tube from the handle.
5. Pull the silicone seal from the handle.
5.6 Precleaning
Use water for precleaning, a non-fixing disinfectant if necessary.
1. Rinse the product under running water.
2. Remove surface contaminants with a soft brush/cloth.
3. Pull the irrigation tube (Art. No. 20195-201) with its irriga-
tion adapter onto the instrument sheath.
4. Use a brush (e.g. Art. No. 20191-279) to clean the internal
lumen and a disposable syringe to rinse the internal lumen
until the irrigation liquid is free of contamination.
5. Move movable parts back and forth several times.
5.7 Manual cleaning and disinfection
Use a liquid detergent suitable for the preparation of a dipping
bath.
Use a disinfectant compatible with the detergent suitable for the
preparation of a dipping bath.
The detergent and disinfectant used must be suitable for plastic
and metal medical devices; the pH of these agents must lie be-
tween 5.5 and 11.
Cleaning
1. Prepare a cleaning bath with the detergent according to the
manufacturer's directions.
2. Place the instrument parts carefully in the cleaning bath, so
that they are completely covered and do not come into con-
tact with other instruments/instrument parts.
3. Leave the instrument parts in the cleaning bath for the spec-
ified action time.
