3. Press the release button and guide the insert into the shaft
tube as far as it goes.
4. To snap the insert into place, open and close the handpiece.
5. Attach the product to a matching Erbe connecting cable for
bipolar coagulation forceps/grasping forceps (no picture).
4.2 Unit settings
Erbe Elektromedizin recommends operating the instrument in
soft coagulation mode.
4.3 Connect up the product
1. Connect the product to the bipolar socket.
4.4 Using the product
The jaws of the coagulation forceps can be extended by moving
the handles apart. The jaws remain in the chosen position.
The jaws of the grasping forceps can be extended by bringing
the handles together. The jaws retract into the outer sheath as
soon as the handles are released.
When the bipolar forceps are inserted into or removed from the
trocar sheath, the jaws must be completely closed. The trocar
valve, however, must be fully open! Proceed with care! Do not
use force!
