These instructions for use do not replace the user manual of the
electrosurgical unit used! Read the user manual of the electro-
surgical unit and ask Erbe or your distributor in case of doubt!

Normal use
The pistol-shaped handle is intended for monopolar cutting with
the following units/accessories:
• Erbe electrosurgical units
• HF electrodes (shaft diameter: 4 mm), in particular loop and
conization electrodes that during use should be rotated 360°
Erbe recommends the use of Erbe HF electrodes. If the handle is
operated with HF electrodes from another manufacturer, please
observe the following: The joint from handle to HF electrodes of
other manufacturers is not standardized. The HF electrode of an-
other manufacture, although it may appear to fit the Erbe han-
dle, may have different dimensions and tolerances, a different
type of insulation, etc. Such differences hold risks for patient and
staff. Erbe Elektromedizin is glad to provide more information as
required.
