These instructions for use do not replace the user manual of the
APC unit used! Read the user manual of the APC unit and ask
Erbe or your distributor in case of doubt!

Normal use
The APC ignition adapter is intended to preform an ignition test
with rigid or flexible APC applicators / APC probes.
The ignition adapter can only be used on the following Erbe
Elektromedizin device combinations:
• An electrosurgical unit from the VIO D/S series in combina-
tion with an APC 2
• An electrosurgical unit from the ICC 350, 300, or 200 series
in combination with an APC 300
WARNING!

Safety instructions
This product may be used only by trained medical staff, who
have been shown how to use it according to the instructions for
use.
Check insulation for damage before every application.
If damaged, do not use this product!
Do not use in the presence of combustible or explosive materi-
als!
Never lay this product on the patient or in his/her direct vicinity.
Protect this product from any form of mechanical damage! Do
not throw! Do not use force!
