The dust box is recommended for horizontal
sanding and for the larger grit sizes, if sanding
vertically or with very small grit sizes then dust
extraction should be used.
Empty dust box (see Fig 5-1, 5-2)
For more efficient operation, empty dust box every
5-10mins. This will permit the air to flow through
the box better.
To empty the dust box, remove it from the dust
extraction port, press the button at the rear of the
box to open the back of it, and shake out dust.
3. OPERATING THE ON/OFF SWITCH (SEE FIG. 6)
Slide the on/off switch to the forward for operation,
and slide it backward to stop.
4. VARIABLE SPEED CONTROL (SEE FIG. 7)
Adjust the variable speed control to increase or
decrease the speed according to the material
and sanding sheet specification to be used (also
possible during no load operation). See the table
below for general guidance on speed selection.
Avoid prolonged use at very low speed as this may
damage your sander’s motor.
