Drill and driver bits
Different drill and driver bits can be used with this product depending on the material
being worked with.
WARNING!
Always use drill bits according to the intended use! For
example, never use drill bit intended for working on wood for working on
metal or vice versa!
Observe the technical requirements of this product (see section Technical
specifications) when purchasing and using drill bits and driver bits!
Some drill bits are very sharp and become hot during use! Handle them
carefully! Wear protective gloves when handling drill bits in order to avoid
injuries like burns and cuts!
Inserting
1. Turn the chuck sleeve (1a) anticlockwise until the chuck jaws (1b) are opened
wide enough to insert the bit (Fig. G).
2. Insert the bit all the way to the stop of the keyless chuck (1) (Fig. H).
NOTE:
If using a short driver bit of 25 mm, please insert it into the socket
of an extension bit holder.
3. Turn the chuck sleeve (1a) clockwise until the drill or driver bit is properly fastened
in the chuck jaws (1b) (Fig. I).
WARNING!
After short operation, switch the product off and check once
again that the bit is properly fastened!
Caution!
The drill bit could be hot!
Replacing / Removing
1. Turn the chuck sleeve (1a) anticlockwise until the chuck jaws (1b) are opened
wide enough to remove the bit.
2. Remove the bit and insert a new one as described above if desired.
