4. Instructions for disposal
Do not dispose of the device with regular domestic
waste!
Electronic equipment must be disposed of at
local collection points for waste electronic equip-
ment in compliance with the Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment Directive.
The CE Marking is simply an official symbol relat -
ing to the free movement of a product; it does not
warrant a product’s characteristics.
Used batteries should not be disposed of with
regular domestic waste! Instead, take them to
your local battery disposal point.
5. Mounting
The MAX! window sensor essentially consists of two ele-
ments: an electronic unit (1) and a magnet (2) (see p. 16).
The electronic unit (1) must be mounted on the frame and
the magnet (2) mounted on the window.

First select the window that is frequently used for ventilation
and which the MAX! window sensor is to be attached to.
