Printer Stops Printing Unexpectedly
Head cleaning, ink charging, or ink drying is in
progress
Check to see if the
Pause
light is flashing. If so, the printer is in
the process of head cleaning, ink charging or ink drying. During
head cleaning and ink charging,
WAIT
is displayed on the LCD
panel. During ink drying,
INK DRY nn MIN
is displayed (nn is the
number of remaining minutes). Wait until the printer resumes
printing.
An error has occurred
Many common printer problems can be identified by the LCD
messages and lights on your printer’s control panel.
If your printer stops working, use the table in the next section to
diagnose the problem, then follow the recommended corrective
measures. For other messages not included in the table, see
“Status messages”.
