If your Macintosh has a built-in
modem, connect the interface cable to
the Macintosh’s printer port.

Your interface cable does not
meet both the printer and
computer specifications.

Use an interface cable that meets both
printer and computer specifications.

Your software is not properly
set up for your printer.

Make sure that your printer is
properly selected in your software.
