Caution:
Use paper at least 182 mm (7.17 inches) wide; for
example, A4 size paper loaded short edge first. Otherwise,
the print head will spray ink directly onto the platen,
which could mar future printouts.
4. Hold down the
Reset
button and press the
P
Operate
button to turn the printer on. Then release both buttons.
The printer prints a nozzle check pattern that includes the
version of your printer’s ROM, the printer default settings,
and a nozzle check pattern. Here is a typical printout:
The above sample is in black and white, but the actual test prints in color.
