Turning Off the Projector
Before turning off the projector, shut down any computer connected to it so you can see the computer
display during shutdown.
Note:
Turn off this product when not in use to prolong the life of the projector. Lamp life will vary
depending upon mode selected, environmental conditions, and usage. Brightness decreases over time.
Note:
When using the Blank feature, the projector lamp is still on. To turn off the lamp, turn off the
projector.
1.
Press the power button on the projector or the
Standby
button on the remote control.
The projector displays a shutdown confirmation screen.
2.
Press the power button on the projector or the
Standby
button on the remote control again. (To
leave it on, press any other button.)
The lamp turns off and the lens shutter closes. The projector's
Status
light flashes and then turns off.
Note:
If you unplug the projector before the
Status
light stops flashing and need to turn the projector
back on, wait until the lamp has cooled down (about 10 minutes), plug the power cord back in, and
turn the projector on again. You cannot operate the projector until it finishes cooling down.
