4.1.5.12  Installing the Rear Cabinet and Battery Cover

Here explains procedures of installing the rear cabinet and battery cover, and completes
assembly.

INSTALLING THE REAR CABINET (REFER TO FIGURE4-43)

Step1.

Clean the LCD monitor surface on the CA2 board, inside of LCD protection acrylic
board at the rear cabinet, LCD panel surface on the SY1 board and surface of lens
viewfinder.

Step2.

Insert FPC coming out of the control panel on the rear cabinet to the connector
CN304 on the SY1 board.

Step3.

Insert the brown connector of 2-pin cable from the rear cabinet on the TB1 board
to connector CN302.

Step4.

Install the rear cabinet to the front cabinet.

Install the rear cabinet so that SW lever for LCD monitor located on
the back of rear cabinet joints micro-switch on the SY1 board.

INSTALLING THE BATTERY COVER (REFER TO FIGURE4-44)

Step5.

Put the battery cover into front cabinet and rear cabinet.

Step6.

Fix the front and rear cabinets with 8 screws. (Refer to figure4-3)
