4.1.5.8  Connecting LCD Holder and CA2 Board

Here explains procedures of connecting LCD holder mounted with LCD monitor to CA2 board.
(Refer to figure4-28 and 4-29)

Step1.

Slide CA2 board mounted with CA1 board and lens unit into the LCD holder,
and push an actuator on the CA2 board into between2 peaking portions of
removable lever on the LCD holder.

Step2.

Fix LCD holder with 2 screws 2x4(#102) and one screw 2x5(#100) from back of
CA2 board.

Step3.

Insert FPC coming out of LCD monitor to CN171 on the CA2 board. At this time,
Leave a white connector(3-pin) from LCD monitor as it is.

Step4.

Refer to figure4-29 how FPC, which is inserted at Step3. should be kept.
It should be pushed into between LCD holder and CA2 board by some kind of bar.

CAUTION

If you use a bar with a sharp pointed edge, like a driver to push FPC
surface vertically, it may break electric pattern inside and be unable to
read images. Therefore, use a bar horizontally to the FPC surface.
