5.1.6 LCD H AFC Adjustment
LCD H AFC adjustment is to adjust the position of images displayed on the LCD screen to the
horizontal direction. Since this adjustment is done by turning VR171 on the CA2 board, it consists
of electric relation between CA2 board and LCD screen.
Therefore, perform this adjustment when replacing CA2 board or LCD monitor.
Step1. Select DscCal52 and display the screen for adjustment program.(Refer to figure5-3)
Step2. Click on an arrow located next to the H AFC window and select “0”. (See the figure
below)

Step3. A black line appears on the LCD screen.

This adjustment should be done after replacing CA2 board or LCD
monitor and completing its assembly. However, it is not necessary to
perform a following step on next the page, if a black line appears on
the center of the screen after performing Step1
