Use the information in this section to find the source 
of and solution to P-4000 problems.

Determine the type of problem that occurred, and see 
the appropriate section below:

There is no response from the 
printer. Make sure the printer is on.

Make sure that your printer is on 
and the USB cable is connected 
correctly.

Check your printer and printer’s 
manual.

You must set the date and time to 
ensure correct operation.
