ESPON FX-880/FX-1180 Service Manual

Upper Housing Removal

1. Follow the disassembly preparation procedures (see page 3-8).

2. Remove the 2 CBS (M3 × 6) screws and a CBB (4 × 12) screw securing the upper housing to the

lower case. See Figure 3-5.

3. Set the release lever to the friction feed position.

4. Lift the front of the upper housing and disconnect the control panel FFC from the control panel

connector.

5. Release the 2 hooks securing the control panel to the bottom-front of the upper housing, and remove

the control panel.

6. Lift the upper housing by the front and remove it.
