Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you achieve satisfactory alignment.  Alignment is correct when the vertical lines
on the H’s line up within the margins of error specified below (see a on Figure 4-4):

Less than 0.05 mm (at the center of the test pattern)

 Mode 0

Less than 0.3 mm (at the left and right sides of the test pattern)

 Mode 1

Less than 0.2 mm (at the left and right sides of the test pattern)

 Mode 4

Less than 0.05 mm (at the left and right sides of the test pattern)

 

6. 

Press Enter to set the adjustment value for each mode.

7. 

Turn off the printer to store the Bi-D settings in the EEPROM.

8. 

Press Esc several times to quit the program.
