Printer Features
Default Settings
You can set certain default parameters to be used at printer initialization. To change
the parameters shown in
l-16, Group 1 Features,
follow the steps below:
1. Turn on the printer while pressing the FONT button. The printer beeps once and
prints the current default settings on the paper loaded in the paper path.
2. Press FONT to select a parameter. The FONT and CONDENSED

on, off, or blink to show the current parameter selected. Press FONT as many times
as necessary, until the
indicate the setting to be changed. (See Table l-16.)
3. Press PAUSE to change the setting. The READY LED shows your selection.
4. Repeat this procedure for any Group 1 feature you want to change. (After you set
the feature
at
the
bottom
of Table 1-16, the printer returns to the first feature in
Table 1-16.)
5. When all the settings are as you want
them,
turn off the printer. The settings
are stored in non-volatile memory.
