PictureMate’s handle makes it easy to carry short
distances.
Note: You can’t raise the handle all the way up; it’s designed to
balance the printer’s weight.
Packing Your PictureMate
If PictureMate is going to travel a longer distance, pack
it carefully to help protect it from getting damaged.
Caution: Keep PictureMate out of the sun and don’t leave it in
your car or other location where it can get too hot or too cold.
PictureMate may be damaged or ink may leak.

Press the

button on PictureMate’s side to
turn it off.

Wait until the power light goes out, then unplug
the power cable from the power outlet.

Remove all paper and printed photos.

Unplug the power adapter and any connected
USB cable or device. Place the power cable and
adapter in the PictureMate accessory box.

Close the paper support and remove the output
tray. Then lower the screen.

Place the remote control in the storage area on
top of PictureMate.

Pack PictureMate in the box that it came in or the
optional carrying case.
Caution: Make sure the photo cartridge is installed. Do not
remove the photo cartridge before transporting. Don’t place
PictureMate on its side or upside down, or ink may leak.
Note: If your prints don’t look as good after PictureMate has
been moved, try aligning the print head (see page 67).
