Epson AL-C500 Series User Manual Download Page 91

Remove the staple cartridge and check to see if there is any problem with it. If there are only a few
staples left, replace the staple cartridge with a new one.

For details, see “Problems Using Stapler/Stacker Unit” on page 122.

Can’t Print

The print data is deleted because it is incorrect.

Make sure the appropriate paper size and printer driver are used.

Can’t Print Duplex

The printer has encountered problems during duplex printing. Make sure you are using an
appropriate type and size of paper for the duplex printing. The problem could also be a result of
incorrect settings for the paper source you are using. Pressing the 

Start/Stop

 button will print the rest

of the print job on only one side of the paper. Press the 

W

 

Pause/Cancel

 button to cancel the print

job.

Can’t Use Bookmark

The registered menu cannot be used because the menu is disabled by changing any settings after
registered the menu in bookmark.

Cassette Error yyy

Too many optional paper cassette units are installed to the printer. Up to three units can be installed.

CF CHECK

The printer is checking the CompactFlash memory.

Check Paper Size

The paper size setting is different from the size of paper loaded in the printer. Check to see if the correct
size of paper is loaded in the specified paper source.

To clear this error, select 

Clear Warning

 from the control panel’s 

Reset Menu
