Disassembling Procedure

4.2.3.4 Top Cover Removal

Remove the Operation Panel. (See “Operation Panel Removal” on
page -124.)

Remove the cover for the optional unit cover located at the top rear
side of the Top Cover.

Remove 2 screws (1 under the option cover and the other at the rear
right securing the Top Cover and Rear Cover together), and remove
the Top Cover.

Through the transfer belt installation hole, release the hook fixing the
Top Cover to the printer frame and remove the Top Cover.

4.2.3.5 Left Cover Removal

Remove the Top Cover. (See “Top Cover Removal” on page -125.)

Remove 3 screws securing the Left Cover.

Pull the Left Cover to the front and lift it up to release 3 hooks at the
bottom.

Move the Left Cover down to release 3 hooks along the top edge, and
remove the Left Cover.
