Inspection of the diaphragm and the valves (Figure 4–1)
Maintenance kit: Ref. V02-K-113-909
•
Switch off the analyzer.
•
Disconnect connector J6 from the motherboard.
•
Disconnect the 2 tubes from the yoke (18) of the pump and mark their
respective positions.
•
Loosen the 2 knurled fastening screws and take out the pump by
freeing it from the enclosure located behind it.
•
Mark the relative positions of parts (18), (16), (10) and (5) using a
pencil.
•
Loosen the screw (1).
•
Loosen the 4 screws (19) and remove the head of the pump (make
sure that the articulation washer is not mislaid (20)).
•
Disassemble the various parts, starting with part (16). Check the
condition of the valves (15). Replace them if they are marked too
much.
•
Check the condition of the circlips (14). Replace them if they are
oxidized.
•
Check the condition of the diaphragm (11). Replace it if it is cracked or
warped.
•
Replace the seal (17) after 2 disassembly operations.
•
Clean the internal parts and components of the pump with alcohol.
•
Assemble the unit when it is sufficiently dry. Observe the orientation of
the parts.
•
Replace the suspension rings (4) if necessary.
•
Check the tightening of the screws (3).
