5. Next, spread the supplied vermiculite around the
perimeter of the burner only
. The vermiculite is
not intended for use on the burner pan. Place the
provided coals on the burner pan in front of the air
holes, but
do not block them
(figure 56). Using
the supplied brush, evenly spread the ember wool
and Embaglow on top of the burner pan as shown
(Figure 57).

6. Place Log #4 on the pin of Log #6 (Figure 58),
with the bottom angled to the right side of the
firebox (Figure 59).
7. Finally, align Log #7 with the pin on Log #8
(Figure 60) and rest the bottom at an angle on
top of Log #1 (Figure 61).
