The placement of the logs is not arbitrary. If they are positioned incorrectly, the flames can be “pinched”
and will not burn correctly. All of the logs either locate on burner pins or a notch, which make alignment
easier. Using the pictures provided, carefully set the logs in place (see Figures 51 through 62).
NOTE: The logs are fragile and should be handled gently.

Please ensure that there is no damage to the log set
prior to installation.
To I nstall Log Set:
1. Place Log #8 on top of the pilot shield (left side) and
the log rest (right side) at the rear of the firebox. Slide
the log left until it contacts the finger stop next to the
pilot shield (Figure 51).
Note
: Ensure the metal air scoop is installed on the
burner pan before proceeding with the log setup. See
Figure 52 below.

2. Place Log #5 on the left and Log #6 on the right in
front of Log #8. Line up the bottom holes with the
pins on the burner pan (Figure 53).
3. Place Log #3 in front of Log #5 on the left, and Log
#2 in front of Log#6 on the right. Line up the bottom
holes with the pins on the burner pan (Figure 54).
4. Next, place Log #1 in front of Log #3 on the left. Line
up the bottom holes with the pins on the burner pan
