Initial Installation

Take the leveling legs that were removed from the unit and install them on the wood pedestal (see Figure
82).
The wood pedestal comes packaged with four (4) hex head bolts and four (4) washers used to secure the
pedestal onto the unit. Fasten the wood pedestal to the unit using the same threaded holes that the level-
ing legs were installed (see Figure 83).
*Note
: If rerouting the Gas/Electrical connections through the pedestal, make sure to complete the reloca-
tion prior to fully installing the pedestal.

Pole Pedestal Anchor
The pole pedestal comes with an anchor
plate to help secure it to the floor (see
Figure 81 for geometry and orientation).
To install:
•
Mark desired center location for
the unit on the floor and align with
crosshair on the anchor.
•
Fasten anchor to floor using two
screw (lag screws included) through
the curved slots above and below
the crosshair.
•
Test fit unit on anchor plate to verify
orientation. The brackets on the
pedestal will fit on the OUTER SIDE
of the anchor flanges. Loosen bolts
and rotate anchor if needed.
•
Once orientation is finalized, fully secure anchor using the six (6) holes on the ends on the plate.
•
Secure the unit to the anchor using the supplied 2 screws with a 5/16” socket with extension.
