Pressurized Flow Center and Pump Mounting
The flow center can be mounted with the flow paths either vertical or horizontal (see Acceptable mounting positions for Flo-Link
and GPM series flow centers). However, the flow center cannot be mounted on its back, upside down, or at an angle, as
premature pump failure will occur when the pump shaft is not in the horizontal position.
Acceptable mounting positions for Flo-Link and GPM series flow centers.
Equally important to pump longevity is terminal box orientation (See Acceptable terminal box locations for UPS26-99, UP26-99,
and UP26-116 pumps) for proper control box orientation. The pump terminal box must be located in a position to avoid
condensation running into the control box, and also to take advantage of the “weep holes” designed to drain any condensation
that may have formed. “Weep holes” are located on three sides of the pump.
Acceptable terminal box locations for UPS26-99, UP26-99, and UP26-116 pumps.
