Installation and Operations Manual
Move from the street to the unit’s final location. If the ground
allows, use a pallet truck to move the unit to the set up location.
If that is not available and you must lift the unit into place
please do so as described below.
Note:
The center of gravity is offset to one side (the right side
when looking at the front of the unit).
If the unit needs to be transported across soft ground, such as
a lawn, a crane be used that can lift the unit to the installation
location. When the unit is lifted with a crane, the packaging
must be undisturbed. (See the illustration)
If a crane vehicle cannot be used the unit may be transported
on an extended hand truck with oversized turf tires (dolly, two
wheeler). The unit must be taken from its heaviest side (right
side of unit when looking at the front). This unit is approaching
400 lbs so lift accordingly using plenty of help as needed.
Recommended installation for proper draining of
condensation.

Lift From the Pallet to Final Positioning
Before lifting remove the packaging and the securing strap from
the pallet. Place lifting straps around each machine foot. Lifting
from the pallet to the base requires four persons, one for each
lifting strap.
Condensation
The condensate drain pan collects and drains away most of the
condensate from the heat pump.
It is important to the heat pump function that the condensate
run-off is not positioned so that it can cause damage to the
house. Run-off should be checked regularly especially during
the autumn for obstructions by leaves and branches. Clean
if necessary. The condensate (up to 13 gallons/24 hrs) that
collects in the trough should be routed away by a pipe to an
appropriate area, it is recommended that the shortest outdoor
stretch possible is used.
