Installation conditions

Dimensions
All the dimensions and lengths of the sensor and transmitter are provided in the separate
documentation “Technical Information”.

Mounting location
Correct measuring is possible only if the pipe is full. Avoid the following locations:
• Highest point of a pipeline. Risk of air accumulating
• Directly upstream a free pipe outlet in a vertical pipeline.

Do not install the sensor on the intake side of a pump. This precaution is to avoid low pressure
and the consequent risk of damage to the lining of the measuring tube. Information on the lining's
