XML export

- For documentation purposes, you can export the changes and settings

implemented in the Device Xpert to an XML file and save them to your PDA. To do this, select
"Device", "Export Device Configuration", select the file name, location etc., and start the
export.

•

Application help

- The Device Xpert software is intuitive and easy to use. It has been specifically

designed to meet the requirements of industrial applications. If scanning, configuration or
individual functions are unclear, an application help with detailed information is available. This
can be found under "Help", "Application Help".

•

Generic DD

- The Device Xpert Software supports Generic DD. This feature ensures that

Field Xpert user can configure a HART Device , even when the Device Description is not
published with HCF.
