Connection with Fieldgate FXA520
Connect your Field Xpert via WiFi communication to the relevant network, to which the connected
FXA520 is also attached. This means that you can use the FXA520 to communicate with the
connected
HART devices:
• Switch on the Field Xpert using the on/off button.
• Activate the WiFi function in the Field Xpert.
To do this, open the iPAQ Wireless function (Start - iPAQ Wireless), and click on the icon in
order to activate WiFi communication (the icon first turns yellow and, once the connection has
been established, it turns green).

• Open WiFi Settings. All available WLAN networks are displayed. Select the desired network
and click on it.
