Installing the kit for internal standard (KIS)
The KIS is suitable for the analysis of samples in which the matrix has an influence on
the measurement. If the standards and samples have a different viscosity, for example,
this may influence the measurement result.
With the KIS, you can add an internal standard to every sample online. The precision
and accuracy of the analysis are improved by calculating a correction factor for every in-
dividual measurement.

1.
Mount a pump hose for the internal standard between two stoppers in the tube
pump. Connect the pump hose with the storage vessel for the internal standard.

Connect 2 short capillary hoses to the connectors of the T-piece using tube connect-
ors.
3.
Push the two capillary hoses into the pump hoses for sample and internal standard.
4.
Connect the nebulizer hose with the T-piece using a tube connector.
