Check and adjust the water level. The water should completely cover the
honeycomb grill where the current is produced. Water 1/2” lower than this
can create a choppy current and may cause your skimmer to draw air into the
plumbing lines. Having the water level 1” or more higher than that
honeycomb grill will cause more water to get splashed out of the pool, and
may cause the air relief port on the top of the skimmer body to leak water.
"
Test the pH level at least twice a week. Broadcast (i.e. pour chemical into the
current) pH increaser or pH decreaser to maintain levels between 7.4 and 7.8.
Winterizing the Fastlane Pool
"
Take the Fastlane Pool down and/or re-install indoors if in an area where harsh
winter weather occurs.
"
If you only close the pool, know that “Winterizing” is specific to the climate the pool
is located in. “Winterizing” generally refers to the treatment of the water in the pool,
draining below the Fastlane Swim Unit and draining your equipment, again the pool
itself requires no special attention.
"
If you have any questions, please contact our Customer Service Department at 1-
800-910-2714.
"
If you do choose to winterize, you must drain the Fastlane Pool below all wall fittings,
Swim Unit and view ports.
"
When storing your pool, thoroughly clean and dry the liner and carefully roll it up.
"
Store your pool and Fastlane Swim Unit in a dry safe place. Always store the hard
parts and the liner in separate boxes.
"
The hydraulic Power Unit can remain outside as well at the hydraulic run hoses as
the fluid inside will not freeze. The hydraulic run hoses will need to be capped off to
prevent the fluid from draining out.
Disassembling the Fastlane Pool
"
Unhook the hydraulic hose connections at the Power Unit and cap all ends to prevent
hydraulic fluid from draining.
"
Pull the hydraulic hoses through the grommet holes (if applicable) and lift the
Fastlane Swim Unit and hanger from the pool wall. Pull Fastlane Swim Unit out of
the pool carefully so as not to damage the pool liner.
"
Once the pool is drained, reach in each corner pocket and pull the liner away from
the top rail tubes.
"
Once the liner is loose from the top rail, walk around the outside perimeter of the
pool moving the wall back and forth to loosen the top rail and corner joints.
"
Begin disassembling Fastlane Pool by taking of all of the corners.
"
Be very careful to slowly and carefully pull the corners from the top rails.
Jolting or forcing the corner out of the top rail can create a tear in the
corner of the liner.
"
Once corners are off, lift top rails off of the legs and disassemble the remainder of
the pool. Make sure the liner is rinsed and fully dry before storing.
