Using the second feed roll
The takeup roll can also be used as a feed roll. If you use the takeup roll as a feed roll, you cannot use the takeup
system. If you want to use the takeup roll as a feed roll, set the printer to ROLL2 by pressing
Setup Menu/Paper
Options Menu/Supply Type/Roll2

Loading Roll Media Using Roll2
Caution:
When using the ROLL2 option, the media may have a tendency to curl inward under the bottom roller.
This could block the media sensor and prevent the feed roller from feeding media. Make sure you keep the
media turned outward, away from the media sensor.
