MAINTENANCE AND SERVICE
Glass Removal and Replacement
1. Remove the front panels by removing the brackets at the top
of the panels (DVTT) or removing the spring clip on the top of
the metal panels (DVLT). Be careful, the fiber panel are fragile.
2. Remove the base panel.
3. Unlatch the 8 spring clips going around the glass frame assembly.
The lower clips are attached to oval handles to make it easier
to pull them.

4. Grasp the glass frame on the top and the bottom. Pull the glass
straight out to disengage the glass from the fireplace. Pull the
bottom out of the opening first and then guide the top out of
the fireplace opening.

5. To replace, reverse the above steps. The glass sits on a "two
step ledge" and the glass must be placed on the top level to
properly engage the firebox face. The glass cannot sit on the
angled part of the ledge or you will not be able to latch the
bottom latches.
