If Hardware Breaker Selection parameter is selected as 2 (Motorised Breakers), S2 Close Breaker
Relay Type parameter is selected as 1 (PULSE) and S2 Open Breaker Relay Type parameter is
selected as 1 (PULSE);

Source 1 Close Timer
This is used to monitor the closure of the Source 2 contactor or breaker. It will only operate if an
auxiliary input is configured as ‘Source 2 Closed Auxiliary’ and connected to the auxiliary on the source
2 contactor or breaker. Once a source 2 closed signal is issued the ‘S2 close timer’ is initiated. Should
the ‘Source 2 Closed Auxiliary’ input become active the timer the ‘S2 close timer’ is cancelled. If the
timer expires and the ‘Source 2 Closed Auxiliary’ has not become active the module will issue a
‘Source 2 failed to close’ alarm.

This is used to monitor the opening of the Source 2 contactor or breaker. It will only operate if an
auxiliary input is configured as ‘Source 2 Closed Auxiliary’ and connected to the auxiliary on the
Source 2 contactor or breaker. Once a Source 2 open signal is issued the ‘S2 open timer’ is initiated.
Should the ‘Source 2 Closed Auxiliary’ input become in-active the timer ‘S2 open timer’ is cancelled. If
the timer expires and the ‘Source 2 Closed Auxiliary’ has not become in-active the module will issue a
‘Source 2 failed to open’ alarm.

auxiliary input is configured as ‘Source 1 Closed Auxiliary’ and connected to the auxiliary on the
Source 1 contactor or breaker. Once a Source 1 closed signal is issued the ‘Source 1 close timer’ is
initiated. Should the ‘Source 1 Closed Auxiliary’ input become active the timer the ‘
close
timer’ is cancelled. If the timer expires and the ‘ Closed Auxiliary’ has not become active the
module will issue a ‘ failed to close’ alarm.
