P. 4, item 3
– Unfold enclosed chocks as shown.
– Use blocks to prevent the vehicle from rolling
away. To do this, place a block both in front and
behind a tyre.
– Press the securing brake and select the first gear
or the "P" lifting setting.
– Slide the car jack under the vehicle such that the
disc rests under the designated receiver.
►
P. 4, item 4
– Slip the handle bar onto the lowering valve (12).
Close the lowering valve by turning it clockwise.
– Insert the handle bar into the receiver (11) and
lock it into place by turning it briefly.
– Lift the load to the desired height by repeatedly
lifting and lowering the handle bar.
Secure loads
– Make sure the surface under the support trestles
is level and sufficiently strong.
– Slide the support trestles under the vehicle at the
designated position.
– Adjust the support (7) to the necessary height.
– Lower the load carefully until it rests on the sup-
port trestles.
– Remove the car jack.
Lowering loads
– Make sure there are no persons, animals or
objects under the load.
– Slip the handle bar onto the lowering valve (12).
Slowly open the lowering valve by turning it coun-
terclockwise.
•
The load and the lifting arm will drop.
Maintenance and storage
Maintenance
– Check the hydraulic cylinder and car jack regu-
larly for corrosion and loss of oil. Cleans any
unprotected areas with a clean cloth.
– Use a suitable lubricant to grease all moving
parts.
– Prior to every use, check if all parts of the device
are complete and undamaged.
Bleeding the hydraulics
If the lifting performance of the device decreases,
bleed air from the hydraulic cylinder.
– Open the lowering valve (at least two full counter-
clockwise rotations).
– Actuate the handle bar at least twenty times.
Refilling hydraulic oil
If the unit cannot be extended to the full height, the
hydraulic oil needs to be topped up.
– Remove the cover (5).
– Open the filler plug on the hydraulic cylinder and
refill clean hydraulic oil.
Adjusting the hydraulics
– Close the lowering valve.
– Manually pull out the jack as far as possible.
– Open the lowering valve and lower the jack.
Storing
– Keep the unit closed up in a dry environment to
prevent corrosion damage.
Transport
– If shipping, use the original packaging wherever
possible.
Malfunctions and troubleshooting
In the event of a malfunction…
Malfunctions are often caused by minor faults. You
can easily remedy most of these yourself. Please
consult the following table before contacting the ven-
dor. You will save yourself a lot of trouble and possibly
money too.
WARNING! Risk to life!
Before use, ensure
that the vehicle to be lifted will not be dam-
aged by the vehicle jack. Use blocks to
secure the vehicle and prevent it from rolling
away. There is a danger of life-threatening
injuries!
WARNING! Risk caused by falling loads!
Bolt and securing pin must always be fully
inserted when using the support frame.
WARNING! Risk to life!
Ensure slow and
controlled lowering of the vehicle jack. When
the load is dropped suddenly, there is a risk
of life-threatening injuries!
NOTICE! Environmental damage!
Hydraulic oils are very hazardous to the
environment! Wipe away spilt hydraulic oil
immediately.
NOTICE! Machine damage!
Only use suit-
able hydraulic oil (
►
Technical data).
Filling the unit with motor oil, brake fluid or
other unsuitable liquids may damage the
unit.
CAUTION! Risk of injury!
Store the device
in such a way that it cannot be started by
unauthorised persons.
Ensure that no one is able to hurt themselves
on the stored unit.
NOTICE! Machine damage!
Store the
device in a dry and well ventilated place.
