Troubleshooting

If the device is not joined to the network after power up, verify the correct configuration of
the network ID and join key, and that Active Advertising has been enabled on the Gateway.
The network ID and join key in the device must match the network ID and join key of the
Gateway.

The network ID and join key may be obtained from the Gateway on the System
Settings>Network> Network Settings page of the web server (see 

Figure 4-3

). The network

ID and join key may be changed in the wireless device by following the Fast Key sequence
shown below.
