1 x DisplayPort (DP++) OUTPUT:
Connect your DP (male) cable to the DisplayPort (v1.2) 20P connector (female) on the rear side of the unit. The DP
has its own locking mechanism that locks the plug inserted. Make sure the plug “clicks” into place to verify a proper
and secure connection. Additionally to add extra security, a Screw Lock in the chassis above the DP port is
available if your DP cable supports it. Please review additional “DP++ Output Details” chapter in the appendix section
later in this manual.
1 x DVI-D OUTPUT:
Connect your DVI cable to the DVI-D 24P connectors (female) on the rear side of the unit. If possible, screw the DVI
cable to the connector and make sure you don’t bend any of the pins inside the DVI cable connector. Max ouput is
limited to 1920 x 1200 @ 60 hz.
1 x DVI-I or RGB / VGA OUTPUT
:
You may choose to use a DVI-I 29P cable directly or use a DVI-I -> RGB adapter to use a RGB/VGA HD D-SUB
15P instead for this purpose. Connect the cable to the connector (female) and secure it to the hex spacers provided
on the unit. Connect the other end to your equipment and secure it. Max ouput is limited to 1920x1200 @ 60Hz.Hot
Plug Detection is not supported, due to limitation in the signal and chip used to achieve a third output for the HT B30
models. The display cable must be connected to the external display before the system is started, or the output will not
be active. The external display does not need to be powered on to be detected.
4 x USB2.0 (<5m) INPUT / OUTPUT:
Supports any USB1.1 (12Mbps) and USB2.0 (480Mbps) compliant peripherals. Drivers for most USB devices are
usually included in operating system or on separate installation DVD’s delivered with Third Party products. USB 1.1
devices will operate in USB 1.1 mode (12 Mbps).
4 x USB3.0 REAR INPUT/OUTPUT - Physically marked
BLUE
:
Supports both USB1.1/2.0 compliant peripherals (backward compability mode) including the newer USB3.0 (5.0Gbps,
<3.0m) protocol for increased data bandwidth. Drivers for most USB devices are usually included in operating system
or on separate installation CD’s delivered with Third Party products. For most stable operation, only USB3.0 specific
external compliant peripherals should be connected to thes ports, as some USB1.1/2.0 devices may not be fully
compatible. Local testing of USB1.1/2.0 equipment connected to these ports should otherwise be performed.
