ASSEMBLY OF THE HOE TILLER
Fig. 6)
1. Clean the tiller hubs and the tiller shaft,
apply a small amount of grease; this
will make assembly and future removal
operations easier.
2. Fit the hoe hubs (Fig. 6, detail 1) to the
Motorhoe shaft, keeping in mind that:
- the cutting edge of the small hoe must
face the FRONT side of the Motorhoe
- the holes on the tiller hubs must match
the holes on the Motorhoe shaft
3. Fasten the hoe-tiller to the Motorhoe
shaft by means of screws (2) and nuts
(3).
4. Fit the hoe’s side protections (5) by
means of screws (6) and nuts (7).
5. Follow the same procedures to assem-
ble the other hoe-tiller.
Hoe Protection Plates
The hoe is protected by plates (4) which
must always be assembled before work
operations.
The fitting of these protective plates,
by means of the appropriate screws, is
an accident prevention rule and must
be strictly done before starting the Mo-
torhoe. Check the proper tightening each
time the machine is used.
SAFETY DEVICES
The machine is equipped with an acci-
dent prevention device which automati-
cally disengages the motion drive to the
hoe when the correspondent levers on
the handlebar are released (2 F.G. - 7
R.G.).
CHANGING THE OIL
OF THE MACHINE’S TIMING CASE
(only when hot)
The oil should be changed approxima-
tely every 100 hours work (Oil viscosity
SAE 80).
Oil change:
a) Loosen screw cap (Fig. 7).
b) Tilt the machine and drain oil with a
syringe.
c) Pour in around 0,5 It. of new oil. Tilt
the machine to check the correct level.
The oil should flow out from the hole just
before the machine touches the ground
(point A).
d) Replace the filler screw cap.
