4. Measuring
Press
button to turn on the instrument, the laser is active.
Set the reference if needed, see Chap.
3.3-3.6
, and the measuring function see chap. 5.
Aim at the target and follow the instruction on the display.

button to make a measurement.
4.1 Single Distance Measurement

Continue measuring, keep press the
button and see the last four values on the display.
The latest results will always be shown at
summary line 4
Note!
The latest 99 measurement is automatic stored in the memory.

In the above example in step 6, pressing the
button will remove the value in

and replace it with the measurement just before. See step 7.

4.2 Max / Min continuous measurement
The continuous measurement function (tracking) is used for transferring measurements, e.g.,
from construction plans. In continuous measurement mode, the measuring tool can be moved
to the target, the measured values are updated approx. every 0.5 seconds in the
summary
line 4
. The corresponding minimum and maximum values are displayed dynamically in
intermediate line 1
(max.) and
intermediate line 2 (min.)
. As an example, the user can
move from a wall to the required distance, while the actual distance, can be read continuously.
The function is terminated automatically after continuous 500 times measurement.
Start the continuous measurement, hold the
button until:
Max.

) can be seen on the display.
Stop the continuous measurement by pressing the
button.
