5.7 Storage
Elma laser 3
automatically saves the previous 99 records (measurements or calculated
measurements). In other words, a record is saved every time there is a complete
measurement (when a result is seen in the
summary line 4
).
Recall saved measurements
Press
button to enter memory mode.
Use

or
buttons to navigate though these records.
You can delete all records, by pressing
and
button simultaneously.
Note!
Continuous measurements are not saved.
5.8 Timer
Instead of using
MEAS
. Use
Time
to delay the measurement up to 60 seconds.

and delay the measurement. Standard is
5 sec
.
Use
or
buttons to change the time delay.
Remaining seconds until measurement (e.g. 59, 58, 57...) are displayed in a countdown,
laser will flash followed by a acoustic beep (If sound is turned on)
The last 2 seconds the laser symbol will flash and the beep is faster. After the last beep,
the measurement is taken and the value is displayed.
5.9 Bluetooth
Elma Laser 3
includes a Bluetooth 4.0 module. Bluetooth is always active when the
instrument is turned on. You can connect
Elma Laser 3
with your smartphone by using the
Elma Link APP
this is available for free in Apples App Store and Google play.
Measurements from
Elma Laser 3
are automatically transferred to the smartphone that has
installed and started
Elma Link APP
. Start the
Elma Link APP
, and use this to take a photo
and insert your measurements from
Elma Laser 3
for documentation and further processing.
