Assemble the bottom by causing the same to slide into the sheath groove.
8.0 INSTALLING THE TRANSMITTER
1)
Choose the Transmitter position, then secure it at the desired height and face it on sight as accurately as
possible, in the direction in which the Receiver will be fitted.
2)
Position the four dip-switches depending on the work frequency chosen.
3)
Connect the power supply (11.5V
— to 15V— ), then check the Transmitter for correct operation by verifying
that the internal red LED comes on. By removing jumper connection
S1 (Off Led
), the LED can be disabled,
so as to reduce current absorption.
4)
Connect the board tamper TT terminals to the control panel anti-tampering line.
9.0 INSTALLING THE RECEIVER
1)
Fit the Receiver at the supporting point available, at the same height as the Transmitter.
2)
Position the four dip-switches depending on the work frequency chosen.
3)
Connect the power supply (11.5 V
— to 15 V— ) with the positive (+) and negative (–) terminals.
4)
Connect the C and N.C. Al
arm outputs and the “D” disqualification signalling output with the control panel
detection line, then connect the board tamper TT terminals with the control panel anti-tamper line.
General warnings
It is recommended that both units shall be reached by means of a plastic, waterproof hose, and that
the connections shall be made by means of screened leads.
The sections of the leads to be used for making the connections shall be chosen depending on the
distance from the supply source, so as to guarantee a minimum direct voltage of 12 V
— on both units.
Malfunctions may occur if the supply voltage falls below the above value.
