Operational Parameters
The operational parameters detailed in this section of the manual are to be used in conjunction with
the service recommendations.
Inlet Pressure Adjustment
During Commissioning
Install the pressure regulator between the pre-
purified water source and the PURELAB flex (fig
1).
Ensure that the pressure regulator is installed in
the correct direction using the arrows indicated on
the bottom of the regulator (fig 2).
Turn on the water supply and switch on the power
to the PURELAB flex
Proceed through the commissioning procedure
until it starts dispensing 5 litres (fig 1)
During this dispense stage you should adjust the
pressure regulator to read 1.0 bar (14.5 psi) (fig
3)
When the commissioning procedure is complete
check the pressure by dispensing water and
checking that the regulator does not exceed 1.5
bar (21 psi)
During normal operation
Place a large container under the dispense nozzle
Hold down the dispense button and press accept
once
Release the dispense button, the flex should now
be in locked dispense mode (fig 4)
Check the pressure regulator and adjust to 1.0
bar (14.5 psi)
Press the dispense button on the flex to cancel
locked dispense mode

When using Auto Volume Dispense the dispense rate can vary. The flex will purposefully dispense at a
lower rate of 1.2 l/min when dispensing less than 500ml, all other volumes will be dispensed at full
flow.
