INSTALLER INFORMATION
Commissioning the appliance
A soundness test MUST be made before the in-
stalled stove is left with the customer.
Ensure that the fire is burning at full rate for a
minimum of 5 minutes to warm the flue.
If there are problems, the flue may require
attention.
The stove will produce an odour and/or smoke
for the first few hours of use. Please ventilate the
room. Also please note that during this initial burn-
ing period, a grey dust deposit will be formed on
the inside of the window, please clean this before
leaving the appliance with the customer.
Gravel Arrangements / Blackstones /
Brilliants
Ensure that the Grate , is sitting firmly in the base
of the fire box, with the long slot in the centre of the
Grate aligning with the centre slots on the Burner
Tube. The Pilot flame must be visible through the
grate and the cut-out in the Pilot Shield.
Scatter evenly the Gravel over the top of the Grate
and Burner. Make sure that some holes of grate
are still visible. Ensure that none of the gravel
enters the pilot enclosure.
The Gravel arrangement is now complete,
How-
ever, it is important to check that no stones
have entered the pilot area and the cross
lighting is good before the glass is replaced.
