Remove Fan Motor 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Remove the four nuts & washers located on each corner of 
the fan motor. Then slide the fan motor off the four 
supporting bolts. 
 
 

Note:

 To completely remove the fan motor away from the 

unit, you will also need to unclip the connecting harness 
attached to the outdoor PCB. 

Remove Outdoor PCB Assembly  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Remove the single screw holding the outdoor PCB cover 
into position. 
Then lift off. 
 
 
Remove all plug & wiring connections from the outdoor 
PCB to the various components. 
 
 
Remove the four screws located in each top corner of the 
PCB. 
 
 
Press the heat sink upwards while unclipping the plastic 
surround that supports the PCB in place. 
Then lift out. 

Remove 4-Way Valve 

 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
 

 
Remove the single screw that attaches the electronic coil to 
the four-way valve. Then slide off the coil. 

 
Note:

 Before removing the four-way valve, ensure the 

replacement four-way valve assembly (including connecting 
piping) is on hand.
