PROBLEM
Nothing works.
Oven will not heat.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
Oven is not connected to electrical
power.
Power supply is not energized.
Oven settings are not correct.
Incorrect cooking time, temperature.
Door is not closed tightly, so the
automatic door latch will not lock.
Oven control knob set incorrectly.
Light bulb is burned out.
Oven is in Self-Clean mode.
Oven settings not correct.
Circuit breaker is tripped.
House fuse is blown.
Power outage in local area.
Gas shut-off valve is in the “off”
position.
Gas supply is interrupted.
SOLUTION
Have oven connected to a properly
sized electrical power supply by a
qualified technician.
Have an electrician check power
supply, including the house circuit
breaker, wiring and fuses.
Follow mode selection and tempera-
ture settings as specified in OVEN
OPERATION.
Adjust time, temperature or rack
position.
Close door tightly.
Follow mode selection and tempera-
ture settings specified for SELF-
CLEAN.
Follow REPLACING THE OVEN
LIGHT.
If oven is hot, door latch will release
automatically when oven
temperqature falls below 490°F at
end of cycle.
Follow mode selection and tempera-
ture settings as specified in OVEN
OPERATION.
Reset circuit breaker.
Replace house fuse.
Contact power company.
Turn shut-off to “on” position.
Contact gas company.
